I was teaching for Toes, Taps and Tumbles when I was approached by some parents and asked to continue the studio or it would have to close due to the relocation of the owners. I really didn’t know what I was in for and after much consideration agreed to try. My husband, Joe, and I rented and remodeled a space in North Clinton on a trial basis. After several years we decided that we needed to expand and make the commitment to a long term endeavor. We (I mean my husband) built a beautiful new studio where we can meet the needs of our dancers and their families.
Just a little about me, I am a University of Iowa graduate with a dance major where I studied ballet, pointe, modern, tap, jazz and choreography extensively. I have taught for over 25 years in the surrounding area, Kentucky and Georgia. I have judged and taught for Dance Masters of America and choreographed swing choirs, talent shows, bridal fairs and worked with the Clinton and Fulton schools. I love biking, golfing, hiking, scuba diving, reading, history, scrapbooking, shopping and traveling. I am the proud mom of Stone, Payton and Tanner and my husband Joe is a Captain with the Clinton Police Department.
